The Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Chagrin Falls, Ohio Brings Home The Gold !!….
On Saturday ( March 31st , 2012) All of The Ohio Regional Fred Astaire Dance Studios participated in The Freddy Ball Competition at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Video —- The Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Chagrin Falls Ohio just had one of their dance instructors , Bethany Grace, participate in Case Western Reserve University’s “Dancing With The Stars” last Saturday (March 24, 2012). This was a fund raiser for Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Bethany and her partner danced a Tango which received all 10’s in scoring (the highest) from the Judges there. Congratulations !!

On February 4th – 9th 2012 a Group from our Fred Astaire Family here in Chagrin Falls, Ohio just had a Blast Dancing, Meeting new friends and Enjoying beautiful ports like Belize and Cozumel on a 5 Day Western Caribbean Cruise.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Chagrin Falls is hosting a Champagne Guest Party at our Studio on April 27, 2012 (Friday). This is open to the public. Admission is FREE!! Please RSVP. Everyone that comes will receive a Free 20 Minute Private Lesson (**New Students Only- 18 yrs old and up) There will be Champagne and Hors d’oeuvres along with a Beginner Group Class and Dancing.

At our Fred Astaire Dance Studio, we have had many Wedding Couples come in to have their 1st Wedding Dance Choreographed. One of our most recent Wedding Couples have worked very hard on their upcoming 1st Dance. It truly shows when watching them practice their dance – doing grapevine steps, dips and acting out to the song that they picked. Upon complimenting them and asking how they felt about their choreography, their response was “We visualized the dance before we came in but didn’t know how to make it happen. Our instructor did an excellent job and it truly does look and feel like we imagined.” This makes our dream of owning a Fred Astaire Dance Studio so worth while.

Just about every student that walks into our studio is a fan, has seen the show, or wanted to dance like those lucky enough to be chosen to go on the hit show “Dancing with the Stars”. As a professional ballroom dancer, it has become sort of a milestone to try to hit. Or least all of my friends, family, and strangers seem to always tell me that when I tell them what I do for a living.
